Smart Surfing

Today I worked on Smart Surfing.

I learnt that it is faster to voice search then type it.

I found it hard to find the right answers to the questions.
I found it easy to put the information on the slide.

Next time I need to try and go faster to finish the whole thing.

Google Docs Ninja Challenge

Today I worked on the Google Doc Ninja Challenge. I have earned the White, Green and Red belt. I found it hard to read the questions right and do the thing they say to do. I found it easy to know what to do after i read it properly.

24 Hour Digital Footprint

We were learning about our 24 Hour Digital Footprint. I learnt that when your press on the icon it automatically takes you to the page. I found it easy to add the links to the page. I found it hard to get a different icon on the page. I really enjoyed designing it. Next time I need to be a bit faster because i just finished it in time. My blog post shows that I am a stepping up learner.

A rage of lightning hit the house

Storms were thundering all around America, gust of wind hitting houses but one particular house had been never seen before, The lights were out on this mysterious house, as Jack and Lily tiptoed in, darkness filled the air…

Creaks echoed the room, Lily squinted her eyes shut. Black figures appeared in the fog from room to room, but this one room was colder...emptier...larger… which Jake thought was the best room! Lily’s enthusiasm drained away.

The room was dead silent, all you could hear was Lily’s deep breathing.

Then smack, lighting struck the house.

10 Pin Bowling

Describing how I felt in the story, and what I did. 

The exciting part of this story was including all the fun times in napier which I chose one and that was this story.
My challenges when writing this was probably adding the bits we did because it was quite hard to remember them.

10 Pin Bowling - by Stella 

As Margie, Rick, Hattie, Joe and I arrived at 10 pin bowling, I was as excited as me getting a birthday present!

The area had just been re-done so it was extremely flash.

After we signed in we went over to get our bowling bowls and shoes, a moment later, we started, at that point I was going 3rd.

The cons were that everybody was staring at us.

Finally it was my time to shine, frantically I stood up and trudged to the starting line. Bowling shoes are really slippery so I nearly fell backwards! I gave the ball some swing and let it go.

Seconds later I got a gutter but it was only my first time. 

Besides that I could not believe my eyes, Rick got a strike on his first try! Therefore Joe was so confident that he was going to get a strike but instead he only knocked over 4 pins. I was laughing so hard that that my head nearly popped of!

In the end Rick came 1st Hattie and Joe tied 2nd, Margie came 4th and I came last, but it was so fun anyway.

My name is Stella, I like to go to the beach and swim in the sea. My school is Makauri. I live in Gisborne.  My favorite sport is hockey and I love dancing. A fact about me is that I have auburn hair. My favorite season is summer because you can swim in the beach and that's one of my favorite things to do.

My goal this year is to achieve most of my writing levels in level 4 and my strength is vocabulary and my weakness is punctuation.

What I'm looking forward to this year as hockey festival and The leadership award at the end of the year. I look up to Gemma Flynn because she's a famous hockey player.I like to posts my learning on seesaw to show my learning to others and they can give me feedback.
